Oh, dear! I completely missed that! I should have given him a longer tunica, I fear... (then again, miniskrt becomes him, don't you think?) ;)

I love the background detail -- the tapestries in particular!
This is great!
Let's hope that young Elfwine will have the wit to prevent it. Of course, it is more likely that he will take the toddler with him on the shield, next turn...
I fear, Arwen has reason to be a little upset, in this one!

Thank you! I mused a while about the content of the tapestries, but I think the great deeds against Sauron and his creatures would be most likely for the decorations of the new established kingdom in Gondor. To remind everyone how brave the heroes of those wars were.
It is a wonder if the kids want to be just like them? :D
This is great!
Thank you! I am glad you like it!

But what is it Legolas has put on the stairs for the beginning "stairboarders"?
Well, I deem, lots and lots of soap, obviously. With lots of water. The stairs will be very clean - after they have dried enough that normal
boring grownupspeople can use them again... ;)And where are their helmets and knee pads? How irresponisble of Legolas and Gimli. lol
Helmets and knee-pads?! The kids are perfectly safe. After all, two of the Nine Walkers are there to protect them, and the third nearby!
And "Uncle Legolas" had no helmet or knee-pad, too, when he did that stair-surf during the war! (huffs)
Actually, I fear Arwen has a point here, to be a little upset... probably. ;)

Well, Legolas had a few more years behind him when he pulled that stunt. lol
You're a very good artist. I love how you draw Aragorn. He always looks like he's not quite sure what's going on.
You know, I've read an article in a German magazine some time ago where the author thinks about the modern protectiveness towards children, as in providing helmets, knee-caps and such for bicycles, skateboards, etc., forbidding dangerous games, hovering around whenever the kids try something dangerous - and asks however all of us of the current adult generation made it though our childhood and survived, when we had no such things. We rode bicycle downhill without any helmet, we climbed trees without any adult in sight (sometimes even during a lightning storm - something I would definitely not do, today, anymore); we played in ruins, explored dangerous grounds, and didn all kind of other harebrained stuff that would make me cringe nowadays if not for the fact that I obviously *did* survive it.
On the other hand, I have no children. If I had, I would be tempted to hover all the time, as well.
But of course you are right: if they had knee-caps and helmets, the whole thing would be a little less dangerous. :)

Thank you for the compliment! As for Aragorn, well, in the last two cartoons, he didn't... or, to be precise, in this one, he did, but obviously he did not see the situation as dangerous. Bit of a boy left in that (ex)-ranger...
